First weekend in October
posted on 10.03.2009Hard to believe it’s already October! Another month and we’ll be at the AQHA World Show in Oklahoma City to watch our four year old stallion, Sweet Genuine Hombre, compete in Heading and Healing. Rick Chayer has done a great job and has “Hombre” to over 100 AQHA performance points in this, his first year to show. Rick also has, Sweet Joes Prophet, our four year old mare out of my partner, Joe Ferguson’s great mare, Ima Sweet Exception ( Sweetie).
Also pictuerd here is our trainer, Wayne Howsan, on another Sweetie baby, Heza Sweet Eyed Jack (bridleless), a three year old gelding and me on Sweetie’s two year old stallion, Sweet Mister GQ. The bay mare that Wayne’s on and is ponying behind Jack is Anklet, who is by Ima Cool Skip.We’ve got all the 2009 weanlings down in the valley on the bermuda grass feilds. This year we had five geldings and two fillies. I’ll get some pictures of them soon.
